Description:

The Digital Farmer project proposes an innovation of vocational education and training systems. In particular, it aims to include in training courses dedicated to the agricultural sector the development of digital skills and education in the sector’s new technological and digital tools, such as Farmbots,drones, the Block Chain and infrared spectrometry. The project acts doubly on both the students themselves and the trainers, so as to align sector training with the needs of the agricultural and food production sector, through the production of teaching materials and the structuring of innovative learning methodologies. The ultimate goal is the general qualification of European vocational education and training systems related to agriculture, as well as the creation of a virtual network for the exchange of best practices and methodologies for practitioners in the sector.
